With the explosion of AI tools comes the need for qualified applicants to train them and ensure they work properly. For this remote position, you don’t need any prior experience, but you should have excellent written communication and research skills, be detail-oriented, and be tech-savvy. You don’t even need a resume to apply, as each company will issue an assessment exam to measure your ability.

To get started, you can reach out to family, friends, and neighbors about your caregiving services, or use a third-party platform like Bambino, Care.com, Rover, or Wag. With these sites, you’ll create a profile and pay a fee for a background check. Once your account is approved, you can start taking on weekend gigs.

GPT, or Get Paid To, sites are platforms and apps that pay users for a wide range of activities, such as playing games, taking advantage of offers, shopping online, scanning receipts, surfing the web, taking surveys and polls, downloading apps, and much more! For each task that you complete, you’ll earn points or cash values that can be redeemed for gift cards or cash via PayPal. 8. Mystery Shopping
If you don’t mind leaving the house, mystery shopping can be a fun way to make a little extra money on the weekend. Best of all, you can get perks like free products, services, and experiences! To be a mystery shopper, you need to be detail-oriented, have excellent memory recall, and have clear and concise writing skills. Other than that, no formal experience is required.
To get started, sign up with some reputable market research companies and wait for opportunities to land in your inbox. You’ll want to respond quickly, as gigs tend to go fast. Once you’ve accepted your assignment, read the instructions carefully and follow the steps exactly as specified by the company. Once you’ve completed the assignment, write up your report and submit it to the company for review.

One of the most flexible ways to put away spare change in your free time is to take paid online surveys. There’s zero commitment; just sign in during downtime as your schedule allows. While you won’t get rich taking surveys, it’s a great way to earn extra cash when you’d normally be scrolling Facebook! Most platforms pay an average of $0.50 to $1.00 for short surveys, with longer surveys offering higher payouts of $10, $20, and even $50!

This next opportunity requires a bachelor’s degree, but it offers tons of flexibility and the ability to work on weekends or night shifts. Vericant hires native English speakers with a bachelor’s degree to review and rate spoken English language evaluation videos. These videos are used by schools and universities for admission programs. For these part-time online roles, you must be able to dedicate 5-15 hours per week, rating at least 12 videos each week, during the months of September to March. Due to the nature of this work, as long as you can complete the 12 required videos, you can work any hours or days that meet your scheduling needs.
